We all are in the same position nowadays. The whole world is under the effect of the novel coronavirus. So, we are unable to go out for a trip or visit places. But, some of the places in India are safe as they have 1-2 cases. We all wish to come out of this. but, as a traveler, I would like to suggest some places to visit after lockdown in India. 

Still, some of the States and union territories like Lakshadweep, daman-diu, Nagaland, Sikkim, Mizoram, and Arunachal Pradesh have some of the best places that we will travel to after the lockdown coronavirus situation is over.

It is also a union territory of India. Diu also includes many beaches and churches and its dinosaur Park is the major attraction for tourists. Some of the famous places are below.

• Naida caves:- It’s a group of caves constructed by the Portuguese. This cave has a natural opening that lets in sunlight, making it more beautiful and photogenic places. When Portuguese doesn’t want to leave the diu. Indian soldiers stationed at the Naida caves during that time.
• Diu Fort:- it is located on the western coast of India was built by Portuguese. It’s situated in Gujarat at the mouth of the Gulf of Khambhat. It’s also listed in seven wonders of Portugal but during their colonial rule.
• Seashell Museum:- This is one of the seashells Museum of the world. Captain fulbari, a sailor who collected many unique, pretty, and amazing seashells during his voyage. To see them closely they provide magnifying glass to the tourists.
• Sunset point:- this beautiful place is located near the chakratirth beach. The hillock and surrounding areas have been beautifully landscaped and illuminated. It’s located in the center of the diu town.
• INS khukri memorial:-  it is the memorial site of an Indian naval ship that sank during the Indo-Pak war in 1971. The brave martyrs in diu comprising a scaled model of INS khukri enclosed in a glass case.

3. Daman

It is also a union territory. Daman is the city of fun and enjoyment. You must visit the daman, as they depict their culture, art, and architecture of the city.

• Devka Beach:- It is a popular beach in Goa, which is known for its long shoreline, fun activities, and a beautiful environment. Lots of tourists every year can come here to soak in the weather and relax on the beach.
• Moti Daman fort:- It was constructed by Portuguese in the 16th century. It’s one of the most popular monuments of daman. Fort has worn out almost but still, it’s the best place to visit.
• Mirasol lake garden:- The place which is blanketed by a green carpet and numerous trees. The calmness and stability of the garden will provide you an opportunity to spend quality time with your family or loved ones.
• St. Jerome fort:- This huge fort is also known as a Nani daman fort. One of the most eminent fathers of the catholic church, inside the fort premises. This fort offers the whole of the beautiful view of the market. It’s one of the most beautiful and popular tourist attractions.
• Dominican Monastery:- formerly, it was a Catholic monastery and place of worship. It served as a headquarter of theological studies and had attracted many catholic scholars from far and wide places.

4. Nagaland

It is also one of the Northeastern states of India. It’s one of the smaller states from seven sisters. Hence, its geographical area around heels and mountains makes it more beautiful.

• Phek:- Phek is a district with the most number of visitors because of its beauty and landscapes. The city includes heritage houses also, you can visit it for the cultural and ethnic trip and know about their cultures.
• Japfu peak:- it is the second-highest peak of Nagaland. It offers spellbinding lush green areas. This peak is also known as the “valley of flowers” as it has varieties of flora and fauna.
• Kachari ruins:- it’s also known as a DimasaKachari ruin during the 13th century. The ruins are scattered pillars surrounded by overgrown grass and vegetation. This unfolded mystery and a beautiful place to visit is worthwhile. 
• Nagaland state museum:- it speaks volumes of the state which is prosperous. The museum preserves precious artifacts including sculptures, jewelry, inscription, musical instruments, and many more. It’s gallery also exhibits paintings from local artists.
• Dzukou Valley:- it is located on the border of Nagaland and Manipur states. This valley is popular for its rolling hills formulation which attracts the tourists because of its enchanting beauty.

5. Sikkim

It is also located in the northeast part of the country. This is the place that is also known as a house of Buddhist monasteries. You can visit numerous monasteries here. You can experience the bliss of snowfall also.

• Tsomgo lake:- it is located just 38 km away from the Gangtok. A snaky road through rocky mountain topography which brings you so much adventure. Migratory ducks and beautiful flowers such as blue and yellow poppies, Irish, etc.
• Namchi:- it is a place with fresh air, which is fragmented with the aroma of lush greeneries. Its snow-capped mountains and woodland mountains add beautiful scenery. You can see their sites like a rock garden, a sherdup monastery, and a beautiful tea garden.

• Gurudongmar Lake:- This lake is a high altitude Himalayan lake which is scenic and peaceful. This lake remains frozen during winter months and water reflects the sky like a mirror in summer.

6. Mizoram

Mizoram means land of the hill people along the mountains. It’s also one of the seven sisters of India located in the northeast part of India. Mizoram is also known as the land of the Mizo people or tribe.

• Hmuifang:- this is one of the hill stations of Mizoram where a lot of travelers visit. This is a perfect destination for adventure enthusiasts. Here, you can experience a rich culture and heritage of Mizoram.
• Murlen National Park:- it is also known as India’s Amazon. It’s the home for a variety of flora and fauna. You can spot here 150 species of birds, and various animals, bamboo, and orchids. Forest is so thick that only 1% of sun rays can penetrate.

7. Arunachal Pradesh

It constitutes a mountain area in the extreme northeastern part of the country. It’s also known as a land of the rising sun. Most of the terrain consists of deep valleys, high plateaus, and ridges.

• Tawang town:- it is located on a high altitude of the mighty Himalayas which offers a perfect mixture of nature and culture. It has numerous attractions like vibrant Buddhist monasteries, war memorial, and high altitude passes.
• Sela pass:- it is a mountain pass that is covered by snow all around throughout the year. This pass is also considered sacred by Buddhist monks. Sela lake of this pass freezes during winter makes this lake dreamlike.
• Tezu:- it is the hotspot for tourists. The most popular attractions are botanical gardens, wildlife sanctuary, museums. The Photogenic glow Lake sitting against the backdrop of snow-capped mountains will give you the reason to stare.
• Pasi ghat:- Past ghat is also known as the gateway of Arunachal is located along Siang river valleys and Himalaya. You can enjoy fishing, rafting, angling, boating, wildlife safari, and trekking too. Buddhist temples and Bodak scenic areas will attract you here.
• Sangti valley:-  it is the charming and beautiful valley of the state and also described as a piece of heaven on the earth. the scenic view of towering mountains, green openings, and the gushing river will open your heart. Migratory birds also migrate here in the month of  November to December.
